Easy To Open Up

"I really appreciated the time you gave to me on our calls.  It felt a complete luxury to make that time for myself. It’s always me who is in the listening seat and it felt exposing and vulnerable being the client for a change! I remember getting ready to sign in to my first session not knowing how it was going to be. You immediately put me at ease with your approachable and friendly way of being. It felt easy to open up with you and I surprised myself at the things I found myself talking about! I never in a million years thought I’d be talking about my sister to anyone! You let me ramble on week after week and put up with my potty mouth too. It felt nice to connect with you and it felt easy. Please don’t underestimate how hard this is to do. I have met lots of people who are in the helping profession who are unaware of the barriers that they create in relationships. I never felt that with you at all."
